So, what can you actually do with them?

HOW TO USE THE CARDS

LEARN
Read the cards together, talk about the pictures, learn the names of different veggies and discover what they do.

COOK
Take the cards into the kitchen. Match the veggies on your cards to what’s for dinner. Find out how each one helps your body, then get kids involved in washing, chopping, mixing or serving.

HAVE FUN
Play benefit bingo, sort veggies by colour, find matching foods on your next grocery shop or set up your own market stall.

The cards are here to fit into everyday life.

WHEN TO USE THEM

Whenever it works for you.

At the breakfast table. While you're making dinner. At snack time. At the supermarket. Or when someone asks “What’s that?” or “What does it do?”

And they can change as your child grows, too.

Younger children might start by looking at the pictures, learning veggie names and becoming familiar with different foods. As they grow, they can start exploring what foods do, matching cards to ingredients, helping in the kitchen and getting more involved in the conversation.

Start simple. Let them take it from there.

NO PRESSURE, PROMISE

These cards aren’t about convincing your child to eat something.

They’re about making food feel more familiar, less intimidating and a bit more fun.

There’s no need to taste it, finish it or even like it. Looking, talking, smelling and touching all count.

The included No Pressure Guide for Grown Ups has simple ideas for exploring food without turning it into a battle. Because “just try one bite”, “you might like it” or “eat your veggies” can quickly turn curiosity into pressure.

Explore the food. Ask the questions. Let them decide what comes next.

EVERY FOOD HAS A SUPERPOWER

NO PRESSURE, JUST A BIT OF FUN

MORE “WHAT DOES IT DO?”

A young girl with a brown braid is seen from behind at an outdoor farmers market, looking at tomatoes in a display bin while holding a small box of tomatoes. She is wearing a pink and white striped long-sleeve shirt.

'What's that good for?’ is a pretty good place to start.
